This job covered stretches of public corridor and upper-level walkway at Jurong Point Shopping Centre, working past shop-front shutters, pillars and fixed mall fittings. Our own photos are timestamped overnight — between roughly 2am and 4:45am — since commercial jobs like this run around the mall's trading hours rather than during the day.
What This Job Needed
Diamond honing ran the length of each corridor in continuous passes, with barricading and cones kept in place until each stretch was safe to reopen. The second photo below shows honing actually in progress at one of the units worked on during the job.
- ✓ Full corridor inspection & condition assessment
- ✓ After-hours scheduling to avoid disrupting shoppers and tenants
- ✓ Barricading & signage kept up until each section was safe to reopen
- ✓ Progressive diamond honing across each corridor in continuous passes
- ✓ Final walk-through before handover each morning
The Result
The corridors and walkways now carry a bright, even shine across multiple stretches of the mall — restored without a single day of disruption to shoppers or tenants.
This corridor was one section of a larger commercial polishing job across the mall — see other real projects below, or get in touch if your commercial property in Singapore has terrazzo that needs the same treatment.
